Headquartered in Japan, with manufacturing plants in 17 countries, they have been leading the technology and development of all types of power transmission products for 110+ years.
They use the latest technologies to create a state-of-the-art, highly automated, programmable construction systems. They are an award-winning OEM supplier with over 100 major quality awards from various automotive leaders. The motto is to provide customers with the highest quality products, competitive price, service and support levels that exceed expectations.
The client used SAP as ERP but was concerned about high license and operational costs and had usability issues. The staff encountered difficulties with the utility of SAP modules.
Gateway Digital was in collaboration with this customer for Enterprise Platform Development. We implement an ERP system which automated sales, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing and financial business processes using Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP solution.
We started the project with consulting, AS-IS analysis and identification of the reasons for failure in previous SAP execution. Our subject matter experts (SMEs) presented the gap-fit analysis to the customer with the implementation road-map. Thereafter a Centre of Excellence (COE) had been set-up wherein the deployed team implemented the ERP covering the following features:
Gateway Digital was also involved in data migration from the client’s existing financial and inventory data to the ERP System. We provided training to their employees for using the ERP system and conducted user acceptance testing sessions. Subsequently, the solution was finally extracted for production use.
